The Hyper AES\/EBU employs a low contact resistance soldered copper-alloy XLR plug; we use a balanced pair of screened silver-plated OFC conductors to maximise performance. These conductors are enclosed within a multi-level screen constructed from Aluminium Mylar™ film and OFC woven braid.
